Columbia Sportswear Madison Quilted Jacket - Insulated, Soft Shell (For Women)

Not my fit, but then it's rare for a women's jacket to fit me. This jacket's sleeves are too short for my long arms, the shoulders are small but the rest of the body is too big. When unzipped, the jacket bulges out in back. I'm sending it back and going back to men's XS (sigh).

Great for everyday in & out of the car.

I love the quilting, weather-proofing, and fuzzy-soft collar. Looks shapely and stylish on. However, the stretch is only one way (side to side), so when it shrinks and you need to pull it out longer when it's wet from the wash, it won't budge. Also, it feels restrictive in the shoulders compared to other soft shell jackets I tried. At 5'9", even the size L is shorter than I would like, and I don't see the point in being waterproof without a hood. Wore it daily for a rainy week in Norway, and I look back in the pictures and see how short it looks on me -- the sleeves and length shrank. It's going to have to go back.

A gift to MYSELF!! Love this Jacket, it's "Fancy" in a Cool Sassy way, with nice keep out the cold features. It has sleek cuffs inside the sleeves to keep drafts off my arms as well as a synch system at the bottom of the jacket. Flattering fit that isn't Bulky. The little faux collar is super soft. Perfect to dress up or down!

What a fantastic jacket at an excellent price - I am going to be the envy of all my friends and cant wait til it gets cold and I can wear it!

I love this jacket. It is a good mix of sporty and tailored. Good with jeans, boots. This purchase was to replace the same jacket that was lost. Great for winter, spring, fall in mild climate. High collar keeps wind off neck. It is not intended for cold winter climates, although I have worn it on Mt. Hood in the spring snow. Olive is the new black!

I really love the color and style , warm enough for San Francisco weather ,the fake fur make you cannot see ring around the collar that bad , but after several machine wash/dry, it shrink , I have to give it to my daughter who is smaller , and order larger size , hope sierra trading sale the vest this style in red , I saw that on someone else, looks really nice

A bit more sleek and elegant than most jackets this weight--the quilted fabric is distinctive, and it looks nice enough to wear to work. Warm and lightweight. My only complaint (and it's a small one) is that the top of the zipper is a little scratchy right under my chin. Otherwise, a very nice coat.

I get so many compliments on this jacket that I have it in two colors, my mom has it in two colors, and I give this jacket as a gift every chance I get.

This jacket looks nice (black) but does NOT have insulation as item description states. If it had any type of lining to add warmth, I'd love it. The quilted exterior is it. The fur collar gives illusion that it's a nice cold weather jacket, but you would freeze during a PA winter in this. I have to send mine back. Just not something I would wear for a fall or spring coat, and it's not warm enough for winter. Cut and style are nice, quality seems fine. Just poor/misleading item description.
