Runs small, except wide shoulders and sleeve length. The sleeves though have a faux-fur cuffs, therefore can be adjusted for a proper length (the hood may also be uncuffed for needed coverage). Overall look and functionality of the jacket backed by Columbia logo on the upper arm.

Liked the first one so much I ordered a second for my mom for her birhtday.

I really love the look of this coat, and have received many compliments. However, as with most of these types of jackets, it is fitted. That means that once cold weather really sets in, I probably won't be able to wear it with a bulkier sweater (or if I do, won't be able to move my arms or zip it up!) That aside, it has prove to be a great fall jacket and it is terribly cute. Buy a size up if you want to wear it with your typical cold weather clothes -- I don't think it will affect how it looks much when you are wearing lighter weight clothes.

i used this on a camping trip, great, as it is lightweight, and yet kept the wind out. look fashionable without being over the top with "fur-ier" trims on other jackets.

Wouldn't recommend - ordered a small then a medium - neither one fit correctly

I liked the fur, but the torso was too boxy and short for my taste. I prefer other columbia soft shells I've purchased that have a curvier silhouette and longer torso. I sent this one back but found another nice jacket to purchase instead. Otherwise, a great jacket for the money.

Nicely made, looks stylish. Would have given it 5 stars but fit is tight especially in chest-even with shoulders fitting. I'm 5'2 118lbs, 36 bust, have always worn a small in Columbia and North Face, but needed medium in this jacket.

I had originally purchased this coat in a medium, which is what I always wear. I had to return it for a large because of its "fitted" style. The arm length is long, but that is good for me since I have long arms. Good for even cold weather getting in and out of vehicle alot-not bulky.

Columbia makes great clothing, but this jacket was a bit snug, so I sent it back. I like a jacket to fit slightly loose. It just felt too snug.
