The result: it gaped hugely at the bottom, actually sticking out in the front, so any kind of draft would go straight up this coat. My toddler is very "normally" built too, not a stick figure. I got this for that in-between late fall/early spring time before we need to heavy winter coat, but returned it due to the strange fit. If they made it longer and trimmer, it would have been a great jacket.
