Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by BB Hikes from Los Angeles on Wednesday, March 18, 2015I really like this jacket. I got the black. Great quality and as soon as I put it on I could feel the warmth that it keeps in. Its a fitted jacket when I thought it was a bit more of a windbreaker looser fit. I really like how the back dips to keep wind from hitting your lower back. The arms are a little looser than the body. I have pretty muscular arms and I had room to move. Nice adjustable velcro on wrist area.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by KristieT77 from Atlanta on Monday, January 26, 2015I ordered this coat for my wife who was in need of a late fall jacket. It actually ended up being a bit lighter than expected. In the description it is billed as a "happy medium between a soft shell and a windbreaker" in reality it is much more like a windbreaker. That being said, my wife like it so much she is going to keep it for her spring/summer evening coat.
All in all, good product.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Maxine from Pennsylvania on Monday, January 19, 2015This jacket blocks wind and is great as an extra layer for keeping me warm. I ordered a large and I am 5ft. 6 in. and am 140 pounds. This size allows plenty of room for layering.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by ESchill from Dallas, Texas on Saturday, January 17, 2015I think this is a great jacket, but I was originally searching for an alternative to a North Face Apex Bionic coat. This is not lined, so it wouldn't be appropriate for winter in most states. But it is very windproof and insulating enough for chilly temperatures (40-65). I sent the large back and got an extra large so that it had plenty of room to wear another layer underneath. It will be a great coat to take on trips because it is lightweight and doesn't take up much room in a suitcase.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by kac from Iowa City, IA on Tuesday, January 13, 2015I suppose the description of "happy medium between soft shell and windbreaker" is accurate, but given that it is called a "soft shell jacket", I guess I expected it to be a little heavier and more substantial. I returned it because I wanted an actual soft shell jacket that could be used in mild winter temps (30-40) or when just going from the car into a building quickly in the winter. This would be way too light for those purposes.
Question & Answer
It does not have fleece lining.
