    from the reviews i expected this coat to be more fashionable. the finish of the material was flat, sorta washed out, no shine to it (I got the black). also, i don't have long arms & the arms of the small were JUST too short. i might have tried to grin & bare it if i loved the coat, but at this price...i sent it back.

    I have not used this yet as it is only the end of August. However, where I live it is a high elevation and winter comes early and stays late. I researched tons of coats and customer comments and found that this one would be the one to hold up in the cold weather here. I was worried about it being to small as the other comments said it runs small. I got the size I would normally need (large) and tried it on. It seems a little snug but fit extremely well. I do not want a baggy coat that will let the cold air in. It snows a lot here and the wind never stops blowing. I had the coat on for three minutes and was already getting to warm to keep it on. EXACTLY what I was looking for. Can't wait for the first time to really get to try it out!

    I think that this is a perfect coat for cold weather--I mean, biting cold weather (well, for living in Virginia!) I feel warm, toasty and hip whenever I am out and about. I like that it has inner sleeves and the furry collar is cute and also detachable. The zipper is a bit tricky, though.
