    These are truly comfortable pants. The sort I live in now that I'm retired. They are too long, but regular length trousers seem to be getting longer all of the time. It's no trick to shorten them, however, so I'm very satisfied.

    Nice corduroy cargo pants. Feels larger than other Columbia pants of the same size-would have returned for the next size smaller if it had been available. Rise is lower than described but still ok.

    I really wish they had these in tall. If I wear them with flats, they fall just to my ankles (I'm 5'11"). It gets cold here in Chicago, and these are nice and warm.

    The corduroy and the color are great. I love the cargo pockets in corduroy pants....rare. However one of them is so small as to be useless. Also these are fairly low-rise...with a big waistline. Not really my thing

    These pants are very comfortable and have a nice cut. The corduroy is soft and doesn't make that obnoxious corduroy sound when walking. The only drawback for me is that they are a little too long - but I have a short inseam so for most people they would probably be OK.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I had hoped to wear these hiking in the winter on dry but chilly days. Unfortunately they were huge on me. I got the size 12 and normally I hover between 12 and 10. But these were way too long, big in the hip and the waist (I almost never have things too big int he hip). Way too much to tailor so I had to return them. Unfortunately no one has them in size 10 as they are last year's style. Though who knows... an 8 might fit given how humongous they were. I love Columbia's stuff and never have had this issue with their pants before...
