“These are super comfortable shorts with great construction. I do feel they are a little big in the waist (even accounting for the fact that they are mean to sit low on waist), but all other aspects of fit are great, including length. I am 125 lbs, 5'6", w/ 37" hips & 30" waist, and 8 fit me well, but I would probably belt them for serious hikes or for carrying lots in the pockets.
The fabric is great. Super light-weight, very breathable, and line-dries very quickly. I've worn these several days in the garden, around town, and with my dogs, and they resist dirt well. The zip pocket on the side leg is very handy.”
