I personally love this jacket as it is very warm and comfortable. I would agree with other reviewers about the arms being unusually snug. My arms are pretty small so it still fits fine, but I can see how others may have issues with this. I'm about 5'5 and 125lbs and the small fit me well.

The sleeves were tight at the forearm and all of my arm movements were constricted in a medium (which is my normal size).

I bought this jacket hoping to wear it under a heavy-duty wind jacket for dog mushing and it fit great everywhere except the arms. They were weirdly tight in the forearms and bunched up. I think if I had cut out the thumb-hole cuffs maybe it would have been better but I didn't want to risk it. Otherwise the fit was comfortable & flattering. Seemed like it would have been fairly warm too.

  • Question “Whats the difference in down count? i.e. 650 vs 800?”

Asked on 10/13/2012 12:00:00 AM by Hanz from Montana
    • Answer Technically speaking fill power is a measurement of the amount of space one (1) ounce of down (as shown on the right) will occupy in cubic inches when allowed to reach its maximum loft.||For example, one (1) ounce of 650 fill power goose down will loft to 6500 cubic inchesone and (1) ounce of 800 fill power goose down will loft to 800 cubic inches. The higher the fill power the larger the down cluster. Larger down clusters will loft higher, last longer and sleep warmer.
