Columbia Sportswear Nordic Trekker Jacket - Fleece (For Men)

This jacket is so versatile and warm. The vents on the sides are great for when you are a little too warm. The jacket is a little thicker than anticipated making it a little stiff until "broken in". I love how this zips into my existing Columbia rain shell.

Nice, warm jacket in a heavier-than-expected weight. A bit on the bulky side -- probably too much so for anything but under a shell, but not too obtrusive otherwise. Design is a bit on the "patchworky" side. Great choice if you've got the Columbia shell for which it's made; an "above average" option if you don't.

This is a great deal. This jacket is warm with wind stop. If you are in need of a good looking jacket that performs in bad weather, look no further.

I have some other Columbia Interchange compatible jackets, but this one I think has been mislabeled. There are no Interchange tabs on the collar or cuffs. While the left zipper will work fine with a Columbia outer shell, the zipper pull on the right does not flip over, so the only way it can be fully zipped in is if you run your hand up the inside between the two layers. Very awkward to do! Other than that, this jacket is good looking, warm, and very well made. I've found that Columbia 3 in 1 parkas are not particularly warm with the included inner jacket, so this makes a great replacement layer for colder weather. Just don't expect it to be easy to zip all the way in.
