Verified Buyer Reviewed by Onemanwolfpack from NC on Thursday, October 16, 2014I was really disappointed. The shirt is super tight (even though I ordered a size up) and I did not find it comfortable. It almost felt plastic in some way, difficult to describe. I had been looking for a base layer I could wear for Fall hikes but I just wasn't comfortable enough in this shirt to justify keeping it. It did seem as if it would be a durable item and I would imagine it would keep one pretty warm.
Reviewed by tja from Michigan on Monday, February 24, 2014Hard to tell if it is actually keeping me warmer. Fits nice.
Reviewed by Bob from Seattle on Wednesday, February 12, 2014This is a quality garment. The upper torso is a bit tighter than I would have expected, but otherwise quite comfortable.
Reviewed by Frugal Kitchen from Michigan on Monday, January 27, 2014Purchased after reading so many great reviews. I've had the same results. I like the way you generate your own heat. It's comforting and give me a warm feeling. Pun intended. Light weight and non-binding. Very warm and comfortable. Really glad I could rely on the honest reviews of Sierra Trading Post Users.
Reviewed by craigerino from Lost Angeles on Thursday, January 16, 2014Unless you want a compression type shirt, order 1 size up. Both this and the heavyweight long sleeve run at least a 1/2 size small (again unless you want or like stight (but comfortable base layers)
I'm 6'3" 195# 34W and 44L An XL will probably be just right and still a little "fitted" like the long sleeve I bought in XL.
