First let me say that Sierra Trading Post is now in my top 10 favorite stores, after shopping for shoes and discovering other great goodies. They were very friendly and helpful at the store. When they didn't have the color I wanted in stock, they ordered it for me and the box was shipped directly to...

I got these for wet hiking, but truth is in Los Angeles, how many days will that really be, a handful? On a whim wore them on a bike ride and they were perfect, the wind whips right through and they are actually have a sleeker design than the the photo makes them appear. Also the toggle tie tucks away the laces neatly for cycling. I believe shoes by mail are pure luck size wise...so I appear to be a perfect 8 in alll Colombia brand shoes (normally a size 7 1/2) So is it safe to say they run a tad small? They are super comfy, no break in period and I have wide feet. Have yet to try them in a wet environment.

I bought these shoes to wear fishing in streams and lakeside. They worked really well and kept my feet comfortable - water flowed right through. Can't say they dried real fast, but they did what I wanted them to do. Size was accurate too.

I bought a 7.5 since many reviews claimed it ran small; I don't know how true that is, since they were plenty roomy since I generally wear a 7. I have plenty of space to not only wear the original inserts, but I put my arch inserts in over them and they fit like a gem with plenty of room in my toes. Really, the only complaint I have is that when I pull the drawstring tight when I'm not wearing socks, it dangles so long I'm stepping on it; I think they made it a bit *too* long.
I work in a car wash and I replaced a pair of cheap pool shoes with these, and while they're a bit heavier and thus a little bit warmer, I can't be happier. They definitely dry fast, and the mesh means my feet aren't overheated on hot days. My feet are also not aching horribly after running around and standing on concrete for several hours as they were in the pool shoes.

I'm doing a trip to SA where I need a shoe for climbing out of kodiak, hiking trails and sleuthing through the Amazon. I've given them several practice runs on our own trails and river and couldn't be happier. They are comfortable, keep my foot stable and dry fairly quick. These are exactly what I wanted. Fit true to size, good arch.

Great shoes. Very comfortable. Run about 1/2 + size small. I am a size 10 in all shoes except running shoes where I wear a 10.5. I needed an 11 in these! Adjustable heal strap is neat. Haven't worn them in water yet to comment on that but would buy again. Great for the price.
While we were at Busch Gardens yesterday, we immediately took the kids to the water area to run around in the water. I was in the water too. So they were completely wet. It was 91 degrees and humid yesterday- very hot - and I would say as soon as I left the water area, the water had drained out already and i didn't feel it squishing - and by the time we have lunch, they were dry. so maybe an hour or two.
