It is a little light for NH skiing with just barely room for a medium layer underneath so I won't use it for really cold days. It is a really great fabric and color and is good for very active wear. I found the cut a little tight in the chest too.

Question “I am 5'5 and weight 150pds with a 38"chest. Would a medium fit or should I go up a size? I find that size large is often times too bulky but if the product runs small through the chest a medium won't work.”

Answer If you want to layer I would recommend going with a size L.

Answer I'm 5'3 and 135 lbs. and a 36" chest. I bought a medium and it has some room (I had considered a small, but I'm sure that would have been too small). So I'm not sure if a medium would fit you; if you wouldn't wear a lot of layers under I think it would, with layers maybe a large. Hope that helps.

Question “Would this jacket kit some one who normally takes a petit 6 or 8? I am particularly concerned about sleeve length - I am 5'2"”

Answer The sleeve length for this coat in an extra-small is 28" for a small the sleeve length is also 28" but is longer and wider through the chest. The sleeve length for the medium is 29.5".
