Verified Buyer Reviewed by Lily from GA on Monday, June 23, 2014So good I bought two pairs! Fit is great for a normal foot (not too narrow like a lot of Columbia shoes), warm in 20-30 degree rainy/snowy weather, and they always keep my feet dry. They might be too warm for summer months (hasn't warmed up here yet), but I was looking for a good lightweight winter hiker and these work GREAT! For those wondering, these are the fully loaded shoes (I was a little worried as the description is lacking)...Omni-Heat, Omni-Grip, Contour Comfort, TechLite, Omni-Shield, Awesome deal for what I paid, couldn't be any happier!

Reviewed by David V. from Tucson, AZ on Wednesday, December 4, 2013I particularly like the support in the heel area. Reinforced toe area will take lots of abuse. Excellent arch support. Shoe is made of breathable material. Very helpful with summer temperatures at 100 plus degrees. True to size.
Reviewed by David V. from Tucson, AZ on Saturday, November 2, 2013I am not a runner, trails or otherwise, but wear this shoe for daily casual activities. Shoes are well padded and comfortable. Living in Tucson, AZ where summer temperatures reach 100 degrees plus, a well ventilated shoe is a given. Peakfreak fits the bill: comfortable light and cool.
Lacing system is simple and keeps the tongue centered.
Reviewed by Annette from North Carolina on Tuesday, August 13, 2013These were for my son and he uses them daily. They are a light weight, but sturdy shoe that looks good. He's worn them for several different types of activities and finds them to be a comfortable, good fit.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Sinclair the Cyclist from Midland, TX on Sunday, November 11, 2012The second day I wore these was to a cave - the wettest I have seen. They did great on sticking to the uneven, wet surface - really seemed to hold. Since then I have worn them on hiking trails and really like the feel they provide. Very secure, yet light.
- Best Uses: Caving, Hiking, Running
- Pros: Good On Wet Surfaces, Very sticky
