I have several in the white jacket style and I love them. They are very warm. I do not own any in the purple style, but I have seen them and I can't imagine that they would be nearly as warm.

True to size. Weight is good for cool days but not heavy enough as outer layer on frigid days. Very comfortable. The white is a bright white trimmed in light blue and has inner stretchy cuffs in light blue with thumb holes. I would have rated this with 5 stars if the fabric were a bit heavier and the trim were a more neutral gray. Just my preference--it is fine as a lighter weight jacket.
