Reviewed by Barbara from California on Thursday, November 7, 2013When I first opened the package I thought they were a little strange. Then I realize I had ordered fishing pants instead of hiking pants. I've worn them hiking several times and find they work great for that purpose. Very light weight breathable material that is rip stop. Big cargo pockets and zip off legs. The legs are large but that allows them to easily slip off over boots. Overall the pants size a bit large. Even going down a size there is still plenty of room to add base layers beneath for cold weather. These pants also provide UV protection and are treated with bug repellent.
I am very pleased with these pants and have ordered an additional pair at a smaller size.
Reviewed by BKO from Boston on Sunday, October 6, 2013I have had these pants in the past and just bought two more pairs. They are great for hiking and camping. Quick drying with zip-off legs if you get too hot and fairly tough fabric. After a few years of wear, I have put holes these by sliding down rocks but that would happen with any outdoor pants. Also they do not like hot embers from a campfire.
