So I got this pack two years ago, because I don't like writing reviews for things that I haven't used well and I'll just say I'm very pleased with this pack. It has just the right number of pockets, the straps are great for holding absolutely anything, or compressing the backpack down, the suspension is super comfy, and it's really durable. The only thing that broke after two years of conservation work and adventuring was the waist buckle, and that was because I accidentally shut it into a door. I just got it replaced and kept on using it. I also cut the mesh back on some jagged metal, but the tear stopped, and It doesn't look like cutting all of it out would compromise the pack whatsoever. 100 percent I would recommend this pack for day trips. I use it for everything but overnight camping trips.
It also has hip pockets which are nice.

This pack is awesome. Very lightweight. The material is very strong, looks like a rip stop type of fabric that will never tear or wear down. Lots of pockets and pouches to organize. The shoulder straps are rubber and squishy which makes it comfortable. Waist strap is nice and wide. Love it.
