Columbia Sportswear Pinnacle Point Shirt - Short Sleeve (For Men)

The shirt itself is fine. But I very much hate vendors which insist on trying to turn my body into an advert for their brand. So very carefully with a fine scalpel I've removed the Columbia tag from the front pocket. Typically I refuse to buy products with such tags/adverts - from the website picture I failed to notice such this time - otherwise would have not bought the product, per the norm. Branding is very 80's or 90's - when will the mfgs grow up and come to understand this??

I love Columbia's short sleeve shirts so much that this addition makes 4 total in my closet. This particular shirt has very small, tight lines and is just smooth in terms of how it fits and looks.

I use this shirt for casual outings going to the beach or just relaxing, it is great.

I am waiting the summer to use it!

This is a comfy shirt for summer use. It goes well with shorts and khakis.

This shirt is made from a textured synthetic fabric that dries quickly. It has a mesh liner for the pocket. It would be easy to roll up in a backpack for a hiking, camping, canoeing, or cycling trip, something to put on when the occasion demanded something just a little dressier than your cycling or paddling gear or a t-shirt. This is an "active fit" item. It's a bit more tailored and close fitting than Columbia's "authentic fit" shirts. The fit is fine and true to size, but there's not a lot of room for wide range of motion--you wouldn't want to be paddling while wearing this shirt.

I bought this for my husband (whose qualities are described above) and he loves it. In fact, he's addicted to all Columbia items and is always pleased with them. This is the second Pinnacle Point shirt he's acquired; the different colors are all appealing. He's an outdoorsman and finds the comfort and durability a plus, but these shirts are nice enough to wear to a casual office setting like where he works. Great buy as always!
