I am a small "medium." Fairly broad shoulders, small bust. My usual sizes are 8 or 10. I can't wear the jacket with its fleece lining and swing my arms, so this jacket won't work for my Arctic adventure. Both pieces are comfortable separately. To wear them together I would have to order a large.

Nice fitted multi-jacket

I like the fact that the jacket is fitted. The lining is a nice fleece jacket that can stand alone. However, it is hot pink, and I wish it had been burgundy or grey or something less flashy. The hood is substantial, but the collar remains up when the hood is up. I think it will be great for travel when the weather can change because of it's versatility.

Good jacket for cold, wet weather

I purchased this jacket for an upcoming trip to a rainy area and, for the price, it's a nice jacket. I do wish the sleeves were a little shorter and that the jacket was a little less stiff, however. I have long arms and broad shoulders (5'5", 140 lbs) and purchased a large based on reviews of other Columbia jackets. The jacket is a little roomy and a little bulky when wearing both the shell and the fleece, but's the sleeve length that surprised me. Perhaps this is to accommodate the velcro fasteners, but still ... The jacket color (brick) is great but I'm still trying to get used to the vibrant "red" fleece, which, I think, clashes a bit. One other thing to note is that the collar on the jacket does not lay down flat due to the hood. I've tried rolling and folding the hood every which way but the collar still stands up behind my head. I'm sure this jacket will be fine but I don't see it being my "go to" jacket when I'm home.

nice jacket, but can't add other layers

I intended to use this as a winter jacket. I like to add an additional a fleece or sweater under my jacket when it's really cold. The fleece lining fit too snugly to allow this. Otherwise, a nice jacket.

Coat is what i was expecting. It didn't show a hood in any of the photos so i was excited to find out it had one once I got it! I work outside in the cold wet weather and this coat has worked out great.
