It is much too stiff, a combination of fabric and the stitching almost completely covering the garment, making the entire vest stiff and uncomfortable. What a disappointment! Perhaps the style would do well on a slim person. I have liked Columbia Sportswear in the past and will probably buy other items in the future.

I wear for light exercise outdoors or when I go shopping and want a little extra warmth but the freedom of movement a vest provides. The fabric seems very substantial yet looks very stylish. The dark touquise is a beautiful color and the quilting pattern is nice. It seems a little stiff now but after washing should soften up. Description says "highly polished" but does not have much of a sheen. Would highly recommend.
