Columbia Sportswear Pueblo Valley II Shirt - Short Sleeve (For Women)

I ordered this shirt in yellow. It's very pretty and I like the material and the neckline. The only thing I'm not crazy about are the sleeves. They have a little puffiness or roundness to them - you can't really see it in the photo. But this is more of a personal preference.

I'm not certain what female body type would look good in this shirt. My guess is not any. I have an hourglass figure, but it would have looked worse on someone who had no curves. On me, it was exceptionally baggy in all the wrong places. Though it is the correct size in the shoulders/upper back and hips, it balloons in the lower back, and is loose in the front of the waist too. It is actually wider at the waist than in the chest! So you look a LOT heavier because it's not fitted in any good way. The sleeves are pretty short and have a button, which means they ride up and feel tight, and it makes your upper arms look bigger. I don't like tight shirts, but I do like them to suggest that the waist is narrower than the chest or hips. This shirt suggests the opposite. However, my biggest concern with this shirt is that the top button is about two buttons too low. It cannot be buttoned higher than midway up your chest. You cannot wear a backpack with this shirt or it gaps, exposing your chest. Prepare to have people looking down your shirt. In short, this shirt is baggy in the wrong places, a little too revealing up top (one or two buttons would have fixed it!!!), and not flattering.

This shirt is flattering as it comes in at the waist slightly--tailored. Wears well and doesn't need ironing! I just love this shirt!!

Cute shirt, but nothing too special. The small seemed a little large to me.

I love the wick-away fabric-- it keeps you nice and cool. I wore this to an amusement park on a warm day and I could definitely tell a difference in how dry I stayed. This shirt also washes well and maintains its shape without needing to be ironed.

Perfect shirt for work. It's fitted, but not too tight. Looks good with pants or shirt.

This top fit me perfectly! Usually I encounter fitted sleeves being too tight around my upper arms, but this top has plenty of room while at the same time having the cute button and pleats that add detail to the sleeve. The neck is low enough that I feel I need to wear something underneath, but that's no big deal. The fabric is very lightweight as well. Great Columbia quality and great STP price!

This is a cute and comfortable casual blouse. I usually don't wear yellow, but I took a chance because the price was so good, and I really like this shirt. It goes well with dark brown pants, or a jean skirt. I'll get a lot of use out of this over the summer. It is rather low-cut (buttons start fairly low on the chest) so those who are particularly modest, or self-conscious about the decolletage area, might want to steer clear (or you could wear a camisole underneath). I really like the puckered material, because I don't have to worry about wrinkles!
