I have not had a chance yet to try it in the field (wading hip deep in water) but I am impressed with the design so far. Has in my mind enough pockets since most of us add a vest or other pack anyway. The hood design seems really good and I also like the elastic band feature in the two chest pockets as well as the side pockets which has padding acting as handwarmers. Obviously long term durability is a concern with a new purchase. All in all I can't wait to get back on the water again in this jacket.

Buddy got this jacket and loves it....it does run alittle small so try to order one size larger than normal. It is definitely meant for wading; the length is short but perfect for fishing. Great pockets (hold fly box easily)!

I'm a 5'8", 155# female fisher with 40BB's. Got this in a Men's Medium and I love this jacket. It is a SHORT wading jacket, bottom hits me right at my waist and I'm high waisted. While the chest is roomy, the band around the bottom is pretty snug & I like that to keep weather out but if you got a belly I would not get this jacket. It has everything I was looking for; loads of storage inside(secret) & out, very breathable, rain proof, fantastic hood which probably is best thing about it-close, not tight, fitted with fantastic peripheral vision and even when its down it has adjusting cords so you can pull it close & high or have it relaxed & open around your neck, fairly tight neoprene cuffs, and best of all the price! I even like the dark color because I fish dark gorges in the Southern Appalachians so trout probably think I'm the darkside of a boulder, lol! Only con I've discovered is the exposed velcro strips on arm cuffs, can't figure out what thats for but I'm sure I'll find some use for it. Sorry, pic doesn't have length but it is SHORT. Definitely get it if they have a size that fits you and you are looking for a SHORT wading jacket.

Wading jacket, snug in the waist exactly what you want over your waders. Roomy enough to wear over a heavy fleece for cool weather fishing. Nice hood.
