Columbia Sportswear Raising Kain Jacket - Waterproof Soft Shell, Titanium (For Women)

Absolutley love this jacket!

This coat is great. After reading several other reviews I was a little nervous about the fit/sizing but went ahead and stuck with my normal size. It fits great. I still have plenty of room to put on a base layer and a fleece if I need to. It has a slightly taylored look and feels like it will be perfect for cold winter days or days of skiing. I can't wait to use it! I only hope that the white color will stay that way through day to day use but for the price it is a worth the chance!

This jacket is really warm considering how un-bulky it is. I've worn this with just a t-shirt underneath, in sleet and windy weather (upwards of 30mph), and I've been fine. The zippers are a little stiff, but I they are sealed, so water can't get in. I would have given this five stars if the hood was a little bigger - I can't seem to keep it on my head if I have my hair tied in a bun, but it works if I just have a ponytail. I tried putting the hood on over my helmet, but it won't fit (to be fair, my helmet is unusually large). Haven't used the powder skirt yet, but I think it will come in handy, it's grippy and can be removed or snapped up when it's not being used. Great jacket, I am considering ordering a second since I like it that much! With regards to sizing, I'm 5'3" and 120lbs, and I got the Medium, and it's perfect - loose enough to wear a hoodie if I want to, but not so loose that it looks oversized.

Bought this for my GF/SO, everything fit except too small in the bust. She told me all Columbia gear is like that, sized for boyish girls.

Looked cheap and way too big. Sent it back and ordered a completely new jacket. Also Columbia, though, because I really like the brand. This one was a dud.

Thicker than I had expected, but still a great fit and will probably bode well in foul weather.

Plain everyday, light weight jacket with lots of pockets. It runs large, but the biggest problem is that I got it in black and the dye rubs off very easily on pretty much anything. In fact I have a watch with a gray silicone band which now seems to be permanently stained from th dye on the jacket

Stylish and warm. Can be used for sports because it is so lightweight. I bought the white one to wear for casual.

I've been wearing this jacket in all of our 2010 snow. I wear a hoodie under it and am toasty warm. The winds here are fridged and this jacket with stands them!

Order 1 size larger if you intend to wear over layers.
