The longer lengthin size L is nice and comes to my knee which is the length I wanted (I am 5'9" tall). I had expected a little heavier weight material and was surprised out how light weight this fabric is. This appears to be a plain weave muslin fabric. It is great for casual wear but if you looking for something durable for back country use I would choose something a little heavier.
