    Overall really nice pants, but I had to send back the original pair because the first ones were too small. They are tight in the thighs, so I had to get the next larger waist size to have less tightness in the thighs. So now the waist is a little big, but it comes with a belt, so I can tighten that up. I really like the material, weight, and feel in general though. I would definitely recommend.

    I hike each day with my Yellow Lab. These Columbia pants are perfect for the transition weather between summer and winter. I must confess, all of my recreational pants and shorts are Columbia.

    As another reviewer observed, these pants have a lower waistline than most other Columbia pants, and seem a bit more snug and form-fitting in the waist and seat. Even so, they are comfortable and attractive. My normal 32 length was sold out, so I took a chance on a 34, and found them to be only slightly long. As is usual with Columbia, materials and construction are excellent.

    These pants are great! they fit right, look good, and they're super comfortable. the mesh pockets could be a little stronger but i don't keep stuff in my pockets anyway so for me it isn't a big deal. i hike in hot climates and these breathe well. i would definately recomemnd these to others, especially at the STP price!
