    got this for my dad, who is a 44 jacket size with a belly below. Large is usually stated as 42-45, so I thought this would work. He was swimming in it. The shoulders were 5" too wide and the chest could have fit 50" in it. Even with his belly, there was a lot of space left over. The sleeves were too long for him, but were proportional to the rest of the shirt, hence my rating of 'true to length.' We'd like to exchange it, but the item is sold out.

    This shirt is more like and outer shirt or jacket, beautifully made by Colombia. I bought one for my son for working outdoors, and immediatly ordered 2 more...the quality is awsome and the shirt is tough on the outside, soft on the inside...great price as well, thanks STP :))

    My husband was looking for heavier shirts to wear in our cold Central Oregon winters so I ordered this for his birthday. He loves this shirt because it is not too bulky yet gives him the extra warmth he was looking for. He is big and tall (6'6") and the 2XL fits great. The one drawback that keeps me from giving a perfect score is that one of the snaps came apart right out of the package. I was able to buy replacment pieces at the fabric store and repair it, and was willing to do so because of the great price of the shirt.
