Great gloves for all outdoor Winter activities!

I'm critical of gear. While these gloves looked good style-wise, the finger length was short and the wrist straps didn't have enough velcro to allow for a snug fit against my wrists. There was enough strap, but Columbia decided to only put velcro half-way along the strap. I am in the between size range of men's small/medium and tried the small. I would recommend passing these up, as better can be found in this price range.

Fitted gloves. Not too large or loose so if you're around 6' tall the large size should fit your hands snuggly. However, the glove is waterproof but not 100%, maybe 98%. Some moisture either seeps in or then it's the sweat on your hands that cause them to get moist. Which causes 2 problems: 1) It's hard to get your hands back in if the gloves are moist. 2) the pocket on the outside is ineffective with the thermal packets once the gloves get moist on the inside, the packets go cold immediately. 3) I felt my finger tips were cold even though dry. So they're not the warmest. But definitely great looking though.

I haven't used these outside yet (going snowboarding this weekend) but from my inside tests and tests when driving my car these are excellent. The inside is very comfortable, more so than I ever thought I glove could be, and they keep my hands very warm in this cold weather. They feel durable on the outside and I've had good luck with Columbia products so I expect they will be.

Ordered as a gift for my husband and he loves these! They have a zipper on top of the glove that you can put a handwarmer packet into that really keeps you warm.

I purchased the XL size, but these seem to run small. I bought these because "insert" seemed to imply a removable liner. The liner is not removable.

Basically I will use this produce to shovel snow and for running.
