“I'm too old to call myself "avid" but I guide, teach, and pursue birding with a passion...I am a female that wants "real gear" not "pink, flattering jackets"...This jacket in small fits a smallish woman well to OK...sleeves slightly too long, but can adjust velcro tabs sufficiently. However, then you can't remove the jacket w/o drastically loosening the tabs. I've not worn it in rain...(I've had other "welded-zippers" fail in rain as your body moves and the zippers probably flex enough to weep water in). This does keep it light and so far that is a BIG PLUS.”
