Columbia Sportswear Shelby's Jacket - Soft Shell (For Men)

This is a good coat. As I always expect with Columbia products it's very well-made, and works great as a secondary shell or liner on cold days. I'm able to layer a long-sleeve fleece underneath it too. The collar is a little taller than I thought it would be, but it still looks good and helps keep my neck warm.

My 13 year old son will use this as a casual jacket. He wanted something stylish and also durable.

I purchased this for my son. We needed a windproof jacket to replace one he had outgrown. Really pleased with this jacket. Stylish, windproof and true to size.

Great fitting and looking jacket. Great as a layer or just as a lighter style jacket for cool or windy weather. Not a jacket for freezing conditions by itself. Nice feel not to bulky in look. Sizing in xxl is spot on for me at 6'6" with length or arms and body great compared to many brands that are very short in the body.

I have another Columbia soft shell jacket. I like it so much I ordered two of these. One for myself and the other for my business manager. I am going to have my company name and logo embroidered on the jackets. That is the beauty of these Colombia softshells, you can wear them on a hike or out to dinner. Stylish good comfort, would like more pockets but got what was advertised

soft shell looks and feels great. i've only worn it in light rain and it did really well, not wet at all. hiking in windy conditions was good too, definately cuts the chill out. i haven't done anything vigorous enough in it to test out the ventilation, but i got mine roomy enough so i don't forsee a problem. jacket is overall comfortable to wear, very soft!, and looks good. one could easily go hiking and then to the movies and not look out of place.

I'm 6'4". The jacket comes down just to my waist, and if I bend over the arms ride up a couple inches on my wrist. That being said, it's a great, lightweight and warm jacket for winter sports. The high waist means it tucks in nicely under the snow skirt of my shell. It's a great deal, and I recommend.

Great jacket however the front length feels a little short.

I wear this in the fall and in the winter for an additional layer. Great fitting, comfortable, versatile jacket.
