The boots were much lighter than expected. Read the reviews posted by others that said to buy a size larger and I did. It was a great decision. Can't wait to wear them next winter.

I bought these boots specifically for a trip to Fairbanks, AK, where I'd be out in the middle of the night viewing the Aurora. I was out one night for well over an hour in below 0 temps and my feet stayed warm and comfortable. Was out for shorter periods in colder temps (as low as -20), and was still warm. Not even a tinge of cold. And they stayed comfortable when I was inside, too. The boots are also really lightweight, perfect for packing. My only complaint is that they are a little hard to get on/off - the "shoe" part doesn't give a lot of room to slide your foot into. It would be helpful to have a loop or something on the back to help hike the boot up.
Sizing - lots of comments said order up a 1/2 or whole size. I normally wear a 7 1/2 or 8 shoe, 8 in boots. I ordered an 8 and it fits perfectly. I probably could have gone with an 8 1/2 (which may have solved the hard to put on part) and worn a heavier sock, but the 8 fits.

These boots are good looking and light weight. One of the nice features is that the sole is not too thick so it' flexes and makes it easy to walk around in. I have heavier winter boots that make me sound like I am stomping whereever I walk. I am not sure how warm they keep my feet but they were fine around town with the snow, but I was in an out of buildings and the car. The traction is not very agressive so I would guess they are more light duty use anyway. The price was great also. Thanks!

I needed a pair of snow boots for a weekend trip. Since I live at the beach with a limited love of cold climates, I didn't want to pay alot for boots i'd be unlikely to wear often. Style was a consideration, with pricey Sorel boots as a reference point. I grabbed these in the cream color. Visually, they aren't a bad looking boot. Well made and look to be quite warn and waterproof. I wear a 9 but I intended to wear thick Smartwool socks so I'd buy larger. There was no 9.5 so I tried the 10 & i'm glad I did. The 10 fit perfectly, with normal wiggle room at the toes with my socks. The boots are very comfortable, as I was standing most of the day. They are also very, very warm. In the end, I have to say I got a great pair of boots for a steal.

I needed some good boots for snow shoeing so I bought these. I love the fit and they keep my feet nice and warm. I followed the reviews and ordered a size larger and I am glad I did. I don't even need to wear heavy socks to keep my feet warm.
