    I HAVE LONG LEGS AND OFTEN WOMENS PANTS ARE TOO SHORT THESE ARE PERFECT. THEY ARE VERY WELL CONSTRUCTED, LIGHT WEIGHT, NICE FIT AND VERY COMFORTABLE.

    This is my second pair of these pants, I love the fit and material and wash well. They are good for travel and you don't look like like a hiker! Beware, they are a very slim fit on legs and backside and are tighter than other Columbia pants I have (still wear the size 8 though). They are definitely slimfit!

    I bought these for working in the field this summer and for hikes on the weekends (I'm an archaeologist, working in Jordan). I have a couple of pairs of Columbia's zip off pants but wanted something without the extremely dorky looking zip offs. I'm 5'6'' and 120 lbs with about a 28'' waist but I got the size 4 and it fits perfectly. I wouldn't have wanted to go any smaller or larger. They are long as people comment but this doesn't bother me too much as they won't drag when worn with my work boots. I look forward to trying them out.
