Columbia Sportswear Silver Ridge Shirt Jacket (For Women)

Great material and fit.

This is the perfect jacket for a spring day when you want to be in short sleeves but it's a bit cool outside. Light-weight material is comfortable and fits nicely.

This is an unusual shirt - I was looking for a top a little heavier for hiking and boating etc. This fits perfectly for what I was looking for.

It was described as being 30 inches long; my XL was 21 1/2 in long, so back it goes. Appeared to be well made and breathable. Too nice for camping.

Bought to take on China trip--returned because sleeves to tight above wrists. I have long arms.

Good quality and a pretty shade of pale blue. I live in sunny Socal and have purchased a lot of UPF clothes and unlike some of my previous purchases, this fabric is very soft. The negative is that it runs small. I'm 6ft tall and normally order a large in shirts/jackets to get the extra length, even though my true size is medium. However, this jacket was still a little short in the sleeves and overall jacket length. It also felt a little tight across the shoulders. My mom is 5'4" and normally wears a size small. I gave it to her and it fits her perfectly. She plays a lot of tennis and says it is very comfortable. I did like the style though, and had ordered the matching capris and skorts. So I may order another in an extra large for myself.

great as a summer sun cover-up or lite wind shield

I like the idea of the shirt jacket, as I didn't want a track suit top, nor did I want a fly-fishing shirt. Keeping the light blue top in medium, but the white one was cut a little bigger so sending it back. Columbia could use some new designers, as most of their clothes are just a little too "outdoorsey" to go from the trail to a concert. If I'd paid [$] for this, I'd be disappointed b/c the edges are already fraying. For [$] it wasn't so bad.
