“Tight in the shoulders”

“I was hoping to use this as both a sports jacket, as it was manufactured to be, and a casual, cold weather jacket (for New York winters). As others have noted, it runs at least one size small, which I took into account, ordering a medium instead of a small. I am very slender (5' 7" & 120 lbs) and it fit me around the body, was bulky in the mid back, and the worst part, restricting in the shoulders and upper back. No way could you do anything active in this, nor could you layer under it. My shoulders are average size, but not as big as a very athletic woman would have. I will say it is a good looking jacket and I think it would be warm enough even for very cold days with a layer under it (that I could not have fit). Finally, it does NOT have a drawcord waist as stated, which I wanted. The drawcord is at the hips. If it fit I would have given it a 5, despite the drawcord, but I am giving it a 2 for the reasons above. I was sorry to have to return it.”
