Measuring from where the back meets the collar to the bottom of the jacket the measurement is 27 1/4 inches. The sleeves measure 25 1/2 inches. I am 5'6" tall. This jacket came down past my hips by about 2" and the sleeves are about 1" above fingertips.

Was worried it would be too small. The sizing on Columbia said xxs is boys 4/5. The sizing runs true. There's plenty of length in the sleeve for him to grow into. And lots of room around the torso, lots. But my son is tall and lean. The color is definitely teal, thought it would be a little closer to a pine/dark green.
