Sending 3 boys to cold weather for school this fall. Wanted down jacket that could stand up in wet conditions! This jacket fits the bill. Warm, not too heavy and a great price. Bought one for each of my boys. Confident they will be warm enough in the winter.

XL Brown. Very warm and elegant looking jacket. the only con, but a big con, is that the jacket is too short. Husband is not even the tallest (~6'1") and I wish this jacket would be longer in body (arm length is perfect) on him. Please consider making the same jacklet in tall sizes. I am considering to return this jacket.

Performs great in windy, damp, cold environments. Allows full range of motion and is lightweight, so it is very comfortable. Cannot beat the price either. I am not a fan of the hood, restricts vision some when drawn to block wind; however, the hood is very warm so it is a minor inconvenience. This jacket/coat also regulates my temperature very well whether indoors or out.

Also could you tell me which of these two jackets will be warmer? I like both of these jackets and am having a difficult time choosing between them. Thanks very much, LEE”

    • Answer The warmer of the two would be the Columbia Down Jacket, but the Haglofs in my opinion is better for skiing.
