“does the job”

“This is excellent for runs on those those drizzly miserable mornings when it would be so easy to say, "Nah, I'm not going out in that!" It's wind- and water-resistant, so that even in unpleasant weather, you can be comfortable. As one reviewer mentioned, it's not for downpours, but for general light rain it's great. With a wicking layer, it's all I need down to 40 degrees on wet days. With insulation, this will take me to 20 degree or colder. I find that Columbia runs smaller than other brands of outdoor clothing, so I got a Large (I'm a size 10) and it fits as an outer layer should - not too close, but not too roomy, enough extra space for multiple layers. One thing you can't see in the picture: the entire back is made of gray, stretchy fabric. Just FYI. It's VERY lightweight, packs great, and is also a pretty color. One criticism: it's a bit noisy. It would be nice if it had reflective pieces on it, too.”
