The dress is easy to move in without having stupidly large /revealing armholes. The back is vented for extra cooling. Note that the hemline is "shirt tail" style and not straight across. I think it's cute, but my husband had to be convinced. I would love it even more if the Columbia label weren't so prominently displayed over the left breast. I anticipate easy wash & wear for this and imagine it will become a summer staple.

It's fitted without being too tight, easy to walk, hike, hop on and off busses, etc. The fabric is strong but feels like a light handkerchief. The only drawback is that the fabric is quite sheer. The print keeps it from being see through but if modesty concerns you, you might want to layer.
