Question “There is no review on this item. I don't see any handles for hand-carrying the bag. Also I don't quite understand the last photo---does the long strap go around the waist of the person? Does it disappear into a compartment? Please explain or send additional photos.”

Answer It is a messenger bag the strap goes over one shoulder and across the torso. It has no handles to carry it by hand.

Answer There is a handle on the left side of the bag. However, the case would be lucky to hold a 15" laptop. There is no way a 17" will fit in here. The back is a mesh backing designed to breathe.
