Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by Michael from Maryland on Friday, February 28, 2014Rigid is a good term to describe these shoes. They are very stiff with an artificial looking outer membrane. Needless to say they are neither comfortable nor stylish. If you want shoes for rough terrain, you would be better off buying better quality hiking boots. I expected more from Columbia.
Reviewed by John Chimpo from California on Tuesday, February 18, 2014I got these because I wanted something rugged enough to take on trails but weren't pure hiking boots. Excellent traction, and the construction seems to be very durable so far.
Reviewed by joshlevee from Louisiana on Wednesday, January 22, 2014Got these bc they were sold out of the other Columbia trail shoes I'd had before. I use them at work for turf management. Worked hard in them everyday for about 9 months, which is more use than I expected. These are very similar in construction, very durable. The half size larger is also true. Whereas the others felt more like a shoe, these feel more like a boot. The tongue could be a little longer. Still comfortable, just a little different.
Reviewed by 4everwalker from nys on Wednesday, December 25, 2013this is an overall good trail shoe that will keep your feet dry while on wet roads
Reviewed by Poolman from Villa Rica, GA on Friday, April 19, 2013Shoe fits true to size and is comfortable. They keep me dry and I have no complaints.
Answer They are not insulted, but being waterproof with warm wool socks they could handle colder weather.
