Columbia Sportswear Tetherow Butte Pants - Cotton-Nylon (For Men)

Nice pants. Lean more to the casual side - probably can be worn anywhere jeans are acceptable plus a bit more. Well made like most Columbia products, so I expect them to last.

I owned these for a couple of months and loved them. Great in hot weather, lightweight. The problem was the cheap plastic zipper which just fell apart in the wash one day. Other wise they were great.

Got these for my husband and he loved the light material and the good fit.

I picked up these pants here (great deal) and a pair of Kuhl travel pants (REI--spendy) to help me keep ahead of my students on an Italy trip. I've not hiked in them yet, so I can't speak to the breathability. Seem fine--since it is mostly cotton (why I bought them). I like the finish of the Columbia, but the fit is not quite as loose & comfy as the Kuhls (but they have a gappy zipper placket--beware!). Probably true to size...as I need to get some more walking in.

I use these pants for outdoor work and recreation. I knew that they were long, but had hems adjusted to fit.

I read the other review about the 32" inseam being long enough for a guy that's used to 34" and it sold me. Very true. I fell in love with these out of the box. They have a very versatile look that can be dressed up or down depending on what you pair them with. Travelers like myself are always looking to pack less, wear more than once in a different setting, and be comfortable on long overseas flights. These pants fit the bill.

These transition nicely from my office to the sporting clay range, to a social setting. Very comfortable, and according to the Mrs, very nice looking pants.

These are great pants for the price. The cut and design is less bland travel pants and more casual, hip, and compatable which means they can be worn with multiple shirts during one trip. I love packing less to do more!! I usually try to buy pants with a 34" inseam but the 32" inseam on these fit well enough for a guy 6'2".
