Columbia Sportswear Thermarator Omni-Heat® Fleece Jacket (For Women)

Bought this jacket as a new base layer for skiing and love it as a base layer or just stand alone as a jacket or fleece shirt. Incredibly warm and a great women's fit. My only issue is that the cuffs are slightly tight for pulling it on or off. Otherwise, a great jacket!

I bought this for going to the gym so that I'm not sweating on my everyday coat. I wasn't sure it would be enough, but it is! The omni heat is real! I can tell a difference between the torso part of the coat where it's tighter than the arms where there's more room, but it is warm. And the last Columbia jacket I bought has a problem where the zipper zips to my chin but it gets freezing cold and makes me more cold - that does not happen here. It's great. It's sooo lightweight but so much warmer. I'm not sure it would be enough alone for extended outside time, but it's great for going to the gym! Sometimes when it's realllllly cold, I wear it under my coat when I walk dogs and I'm super toasty!

This is a great jacket and finally, after months of looking, something I wanted to order from Sierra. It's comfy, nice quality and remarkably warm. It's a good buy of a quality brand. On the other hand, the selection of clothing seems to have gone stale (I've seen the same couple of dresses for at least 12 months!) I loved to shop at Sierra, but am growing impatient with the selection for women my age (50 and up) and fear my shopping days here may be winding down.I used to recommend this site to friends and colleagues, but not so much any more.

This jacket is very warm and lightweight. However, the sleeves are tight and if you wish to wear a shirt undeneath it that is not really thin, you had better size up. I bought a medium and it fits close to the body with a thin, lightweight shirt or baselayer underneath. If you wanna wear shirts underneath, buy bigger, if you want as more of a shirt/jacket, buy your usual size. I really like this color and its very comfortable. Love the omni heat!

Been interested to see what the rave is with the omni-heat. Thin enough to add base layers underneath and perfect under a ski shell for cold days. Love the color and the fleece holds up well without the pilling up. Definitely a great add with the winter sports warmth!
