“So, the question is, "When would these shorts be a good idea?" Answer: If you wear these purely for outdoor activities, walk everywhere you go and never sit down. Other acceptable answers include: You don't care about your furniture or vehicle. Zippered pockets everywhere might sound like a good idea, however, the zippers on these shorts don't get along well with wooden furniture or fabrics that could snag. I've found that the rear pocket zippers will dig into whatever you sit on - potentially leading to some ugly marks on wooden chairs, etc. Also, not a fan of sitting in leather car seats with these either, as they scrape. Oh, and when you put your hands in the front pockets, the zippers can attack those too or your watch...you get the idea. To add insult to injury, I found that they were quite large in the waist as well and I needed a belt - otherwise they would fall down.”
