“I wouldn't really call this a soft shell. It is comfortable and allows a wide range of movement, but the exterior fabric falls somewhere between soft and hard. It is very warm, but if you overheat, the pit zips allow a lot more cold air in than some other jackets I own. I wish it had a dedicated attachment point for my season pass.”
