    This is a work coat, not a backcountry/backpacking garment. It has a lot of nice features but most important to me was the fit- I have long arms but a trim torso and like to have my wrists covered when stretched out, even over bicycle or snowmobile handlebars. My sizing comments reflect the fact that I wear 42L or 15 1/2 X 36 shirt size and ordered both the medium and large (L for layering under)

    This jacket is excellent on the job. The sleeves are long and gussetted at the shoulder, but for a reason. If you work outside, or on a ladder, you know what I mean. Weekend warriors might not like them. In short, a well made Columbia jacket at great STP price!

    The jacket arrived and fit perfectly in the shoulders and chest. However, the arms were way too long. I don't have a freaky short arms or anything. The jacket's sleeves were just way to long, probably 3"-3.5" or so. I got a good price on it and will end up keeping it. I did purchase this coat to do yard / shop work in it.
