Columbia Sportswear Transit Zone Omni-Heat® Shell Jacket - Waterproof (For Men)

This is one of the few parkas that does not look & "act" like an old parka. The "Omni-Heat liner is not for everyone. It is nice & light weight...it also is BRIGHT silver inside. Tiny flakes of the silver ( alum ) fall out @ first try on. I really wanted to keep this first -class parka however the sleeves were too long with no way to cuff or roll up..If you don't have to really "work "in this parka, it's a non-issue. This is a lenght that fully covers a sport coat & in style. We need to be able to shop or filter by country..our trading partners matter !

This coat is long enough to cover a suit/sport coat (this wasn't entirely obvious from spec's/photos so I took a chance) with a couple of inches to spare (and I wear a Long size) with an elegant look that will not detract from the look of a suit. Sleeves are also long so your shirt/coat sleeves won't hang out or get wet even when you bend your arm. The lining is high-tech reflective silver dots on a very light fabric and I didn't notice any shedding at all as mentioned in another comment and the coat fabric wraps around the inside so the bright lining doesn't show if you unzip it part way. Pockets are great for keys, tickets, light gloves and have special watershedding zippers and rain-proof flaps I have rarely seen on other jackets. Definitely an updated urban trench coat for the 21st century. Machine wash (maybe hand wash to be very carefull) although with dirt/water shedding fabric that won't be necessary too often - no drycleaning. Large size fit with enough room for wool sport coat (40L) underneath without looking stuffed.
