On sale this is a great buy - I would not buy it above $90, however. If you want to wear this with layers, size up. If you want to wear it as a warm weather rain jacket, it fits true to size, imo. The flare cut (designed for more curvy women) looks a little too much on me, as I'm not as curvy as this jacket wants me to be. The writing on the inside is in bad form, but what can you do? Pockets are quality along with the rest of the jacket. Recommended.

After reading reviews, I ordered a Large. I am 5'9'' and 140 lbs. Putting this on with nothing but a tshirt it is big. Definitely a size too big. Which makes me believe this is indeed true to size, you just need to know what you want out of it. Do you want this to be predominantly a cold weather jacket? If you do - size up to be able to fit layers underneath. If this was a size smaller I can see it being too tight for any layers. If it will be a warm weather rain jacket for you, grab your normal size. Right now it's great for outdoor activity during rain/wind. I've found it's also surprisingly warm for such a thin shell. The lettering previously mentioned in other reviews is indeed tacky, but what can you do, it's not seen on the outside of the jacket. The pockets have a nice comfy, warm lining which I have not found in other rain jackets I have. I wouldn't pay full price for this - but on sale (under $100) it seems like a piece that will last for years to come. Overall, pleased.

There was no way a mid-layer would fit under this jacket.

I am 5'8", 150 pounds, so I ordered the size 6-8 jacket. It fits, but it's tight so I can't wear anything bulky like a sweater under it. It does keep the wind from blowing through and is a nice light weight material for warm rainy conditions. Also, it was stamped with large letters on the inside of the jacket lining with the words, "50% Air Omny-Dry" stamped in it. Very tacky and looks like it was a display coat. I don't feel the jacket is worth the money I paid for it.
