A good light weight jacket and comfortable fit. Worth the extra cost of overseas postage, as the same jacket costs more than twice the price here in Australia.

Nice and comfortable for under your windshell.

I work in facilities planning and maintenance. I needed a light weight rain shedding jacket which could be rolled up and kept in my truck, or hung in my office, but a jacket which did not look like a conventional raincoat. This product serves this purpose well. It runs small, so following the advice of previous reviewers, I ordered a size larger and it is a good fit. It has been comfortable and effective when worn in a light rain and in a drizzle, but I have not yet worn it in a downpour, so I can't speak to its "waterproofness." It does feel breathable and nicely sheds water from a shower or light rain, and drys quickly when hung up. In my opinion, there are two design flaws. First, the zipper is not rugged enough for outerwear use. The zipper slider doesn't align easily with the zipper track, and the zipper tab is too small to be gripped with a gloved hand. The zipper requires some fussing with to get it started. Second, the collar should be stiffer, so that when one turns the collar up to prevent water from running down one's back, the collar will be functional for that purpose. Overall, even with these two drawbacks, I am pleased with the jacket and would buy another one. In summary, manufacturers should really test their products with actual users, not with focus groups.
