“I'm 6'1", 165-170 lbs. and have a slender frame. My waist varies between 34" & 35" depending on how much beer I quaff between hikes. I ordered a 36" waist size based on reviewer's comments and they fit me perfectly and are very comfortable. I hate sissy short zip offs but these are perfect at knee length. They look great and I have had lots of compliments. While these would not be my first choice for backpacking due to the medium size pockets and small velcro closures, they are great for day hiking and casual wear. I would not recommend these for anyone with a stocky build or thick thighs. I will buy a second pair in another color if they're still available.”
