    This is a light jacket. The fit is very good and the style is quite attractive. This is not as tight fitting as some of the other Columbia jackets are, at least for the size stated. The pink detail on the black jacket adds just the right amount of color to make the jacket interesting, but not so much that it takes over. I don't know if this jacket is waterproof or wind-resistant yet.

    This jacket has a simple, well-planned design. The hood needs no neck cord because it snugs perfectly around your face as soon as you put your hands in the sidepockets. The fabric is cozy and warm and blocks the wind. This is not a hardcore soft shell jacket--it's an every day, "just enough" comfortable one. I really like it.
