Columbia Sportswear Whirlibird Parka - Insulated (For Men)

Great jacket for a great price! Fit was true to size, stayed dry in a rainstorm!

Can't beat quality from Columbia - fits all your needs. They know how to put a jacket together - two pieces, a warming layer inside with a great stylish outer shell that keeps the weather out. Great color scheme -this jacket should last me 10 years like my other older Columbia.

I had a Columbia jacket for a good six to eight years before accidentally pulling the tab off the zipper. I used it for a winter motorcycle jacket (in California, we ride all year), and it gave excellent service. The Whirlibird is its replacement. The detachable hood makes it usable with a helmet, and the zip-out lining and storm flaps make it much more flexible. It's a great jacket, with plenty of pockets to hold sunglasses, bike locks, tocques, and various other bike paraphernalia. Recommended at the price!

This jacket is very flexible for use in a myriad choice of uses...extremely warm in the cold, but zip out liner for light duty use and armpit zip outs for ventilation.

My last XL Columbia felt a bit more loose fitting, and allowing for thicker sweater underneath. But, cannot say it is "too small". For me, slightly bigger would have been good. However, no problem. So far, I've enjoyed it.

Got this jacket for primary use as raincoat in Caribbean but figured the deal with the liner was too good as I occasionally see colder temperatures traveling up north. Couldn't pass up the great deal. Lots of pocket space, pit vents, ability to zip in other Columbia liners, I am very pleased.

This is my second Whirlibird jacket. Two thumbs up!!

I bought this parka after reading the comments by others. I would highly and strongly recommend this parka. It's absolutely warm and comfortable. Again, it's truly a good product!!!
