Columbia Sportswear Whisper Peak Jacket - Waterproof, 3-In-1 (For Women)

This jacket has it all. It's warm, waterproof and not heavy or bulky. This jacket could be worn from Fall through early Spring.

The removeable liner is really nice and super soft, it will be great to wear alone in the spring! Great winter jacket that will get you through all seasons.

Purchased as a gift, and she loves it. Great fit, looks good. Only issue is that Columbia stuff tends to run small (had to get a size larger than what she wears).

A beautiful jacket, but was smaller than expected and I had to return (unfortunately I couldn't exchange because there were no more left by the time I received it and discovered the size problem).

I really liked the jacket but it was too small around the hips for unrestricted movement, so I returned it.

Just what I was looking for. My last jacket was not waterproof and wet right through. This one will be much better for recess duty.

Wonderful jacket. Warm, well designed. Nice details - care was taken in extra stays for the inner fleece lining when you zip it into the shell: as such, the sleeves don't ride up and the back stays put inside the shell. Very nice. Very warm and keeps the rain out exceptionally well.

ALMOST EVERY DAY

This jacket is a bit longer than I expected, and pretty tight - especially around the butt. I'm 5'2" and wear a size 6, and I could barely get into the pockets of my size small coat with the zipper closed. Thankfully, it has a double zipper so you can unzip the bottom for sitting down. It also seems like it won't keep me warm below freezing, but that is yet to be determined here in Boston! The material of the liner is also a little strange - fleece on the outside, but a smooth, unfuzzy interior. The fleece is also very tight around the butt/waist. Otherwise, it seems well constructed and certainly wind and waterproof, which were my two most important requirements. For the price, I'm willing to run it through its winter paces!
